BEACH CLOSURES

Today we have closed three beaches due to fire conditions and warnings:

MALLACOOTA
LAKES ENTRANCE
EASTERN BEACH (LAKES ENTRANCE)

These beaches will remain closed until further notice.

We urge people in these areas to keep up to date with the fire situation and follow the safety advice from the VicEmergency website or app:

We all love the beach during summer! Lets continue to make it a safe place for our kids to go when the volunteer lifesavers are on duty.

As an especially demanding season on Lakes Entrance Main Beach comes to a close, our volunteer surf lifesavers are getting ready to maintain and replace equipment after another year of sun, sand and salt water exposure has taken its toll. ❤️💛
