Central Coast Community Council:
Council is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from capable local businesses and event organisations to design and deliver free, high‑quality community events across the region.

This program provides an opportunity for experienced organisers to partner with Council to deliver events that bring people together, activate local places and strengthen community connection and vibrancy while supporting the growth of the Central Coast visitor economy.

About the community events funding program

A total of four funding opportunities are available in 2026–27. Two are allocated to priority event opportunities, with a further two supporting a broader range of eligible community event ideas across both the northern and southern Central Coast.

Successful applicants will receive funding to plan, manage and deliver community‑focused events that:

Celebrate local identity
Activate town centres and public spaces
Support diverse audiences and locations
Contribute to local business activity and the visitor economy
The program seeks event organisers capable of delivering events in both the northern and southern areas of the Central Coast.

Funding available

Priority event opportunities:

$20,000 – Australia Day weekend event in Toukley
$20,000 – Australia Day weekend event in the Peninsula
Open community event funding:

$10,800 – Community event in the northern Central Coast
$10,800 – Community event in the southern Central Coast
An extension option may be available for successful applicants to deliver events in the 2027–28 period, subject to performance and available funding.
