One of our young troopers (J-L Dominick) left us a while back and relocated down to Tarago NSW. She has been instrumental in preserving the Light Horse spirit in this region, our troop is very proud of her achievements.

Both Lyn and Judy Fletcher have been doing the Dawn Service and street parade in Caloundra for well over ten years.
Their commitment to the Anzacs and the 5th LHR. Maleny Troop is exemplary.

It was great to see the local community on the Main Street to support the Anzac Day tradition.

Jodie and her wonderful horse KD had the honor of attending Landsborough State School’s Anzac service. It was a beautiful morning of remembrance, and KD was a perfect ambassador bringing calm and connection to the students on this meaningful day. Also a big thanks to Paul (Jodie’s Dad) for being a big help supporting on the ground.

Despite the wet and wild weather, our Troop Commander Rob Werry proudly represented the Australian Light Horse Maleny Troop at the Maleny Show.

Unfortunately, the conditions meant we couldn’t bring the horses up this year, but we’re grateful our Commander was able to attend on foot and keep our presence strong.

A big thank you to everyone who braved the rain to support the show – we’ll be back in full force next year!
