🚀 ApprentiFEST !
Last Friday, Perth South Local Jobs had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic recruitment event at Gary Holland Community Centre in Rockingham, bringing together jobseekers and employers to create real pathways into apprenticeships and employment.
With 9 employers actively recruiting, participants had the opportunity to meet employers directly and take part in rapid recruitment interviews — putting their skills, motivation and potential in front of hiring teams. 🤝
To help participants prepare, we also had valuable workshop preparation sessions delivered by Apprenticeship Support Australia - WA, Jobs and Skills Centre Rockingham, Construction Training Fund and ASC giving jobseekers the confidence and tools they needed to approach the recruitment process.
A huge thank you to all Employment Providers Workskil Australia, MatchWorks, Training Alliance Group Wise Employment for the referrals and to all the schools who committed to supporting school leavers and providing them with valuable work experience opportunities. Your support is helping young people take those important first steps into the world of work. 🌟
