We are very pleased to announce Dr Adrian Mundt, Head of the Addiction Unit, Department of Psychiatry, University Hospital of the University of Chile. Dr Mundt will be delivering a key presentation at the 2026 Health Care in Secure Settings conference regarding complex dual disorders and mortality in prisons worldwide.

Dr Mundt has a strong background in psychiatry and psychotherapy. Since 2015, he has been Professor of Psychiatry at the Medical Faculty of the Universidad Diego Portales, and at the Medical Faculty of the Universidad de Chile, Santiago, Chile.

We are very excited to announce Dr Alan Mitchell, President of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture, will be delivering a keynote speech at this year’s Health Care in Secure Settings conference on 'Healthcare professionals in secure environments - their key role in preventing torture’.

Dr Mitchell has been involved with the work of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman and Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CPT) since 2002 when as Head of Prison Healthcare in Scotland, he was engaged as an ad-hoc expert on a periodic visit of the Committee to Latvia. He continued his involvement as an expert until 2017 when he was elected as the member of the CPT in respect of the United Kingdom. In March 2021 he was elected President of the Committee.

What if better conversations could cut workplace conflict almost in half?

After embedding alternative dispute resolution into everyday leadership, Justice Health NSW has:
- reduced formal grievances by 45 per cent
- increased employee confidence in grievance resolution to 67 per cent
- less investigations, bullying complaints, and compensation claims

Our Director of People & Culture Tracy Varga, explains how building manager capability has resulted in long-standing conflicts being resolved before they escalate.
