🔹 Be part of a movement that prioritizes fairness and opportunity Our Values – People First Victoria
At People First, we hold ourselves to the same high standards we demand from our government and public service. Just as citizens are expected to comply with the laws and regulations of our coun

try and state, so too should our leaders uphold the virtues of honesty, accountability, and integrity. We will not engage in political doublespeak or hidden agendas—what we say is what we mean. Transparency & Accountability
Government must serve the people, not the other way around. We demand transparency in all matters of governance and will hold ourselves to the same standard. The actions of those in power should withstand scrutiny—let the light shine on all decisions made in the name of the Australian people. Fortitude & Courage
We are unshakable in our commitment to Australians. We will not be silenced, intimidated, or deterred from speaking out against injustice. When wrongdoing is exposed, we will address it head-on, without hesitation. Responsibility & Integrity
We take full responsibility for our actions and decisions, just as we expect from those elected to represent us. Leadership is not about privilege—it is about duty. Those in power must be held accountable for the consequences of their choices. People First
Every policy, every decision, and every action we take is centred on one principle: putting Australians first. Our country should be a place where families thrive, businesses succeed, and communities feel secure. We will work tirelessly to restore the confidence, strength, and unity that Australia deserves. We stand for a government that serves its people—not one that controls them. With People First, real Australians finally have a voice. About People First Victoria
People First was founded in response to the lack of credibility, consistency, and courage within the Liberal Party. What was once a party of principle has become an extension of the incapable Labor government—paralysed by political correctness, fearful of speaking the truth, and more concerned with appeasing the minority than representing the majority. Australia deserves better. We are here to be the voice of real Australians—the hardworking families, business owners, and everyday citizens who have been ignored for too long. Public policy should reflect the will of the people, not the agenda of bureaucrats and political elites. We are reclaiming our place in the national conversation, rising—like the phoenix—from the failures of those who have left our communities struggling. Our movement brings together Australians from all walks of life, united by a shared frustration with government overreach, economic mismanagement, and a lack of transparency. Some of us have had enough of the inconsistent and contradictory policies that change with the political winds. Others are outraged by the government’s failure to be open and accountable, hiding from public scrutiny while wasting taxpayer money. We stand with those who:
Struggle with the rising cost of living and want a government that stops reckless spending. Believe in parental rights and want their children educated, not indoctrinated. Demand a strong economy free from bureaucratic overreach and unnecessary regulation. Expect a functional healthcare system that puts patients before politics. Refuse to be silenced for speaking common sense in a time of political fearmongering. At People First, we are committed to restoring Australia’s prosperity, stability, and national pride. We will not sit back while politicians erode our freedoms, weaken our economy, and compromise our future. We are a team of Australians ready to stand up, speak out, and do whatever it takes to make this country not just a place we call home—but a nation we are proud to build our futures in. We stand for the Great Aussie Spirit—a fair go for all, accountability in government, and the right to live, work, and raise our families with confidence and freedom. Australia is worth fighting for. People First is here to lead that fight.

“NO CORRUPTION FOUND.” BUT WHAT DOES THAT ACTUALLY MEAN IN VICTORIA?

The newly released IBAC Operation Richmond report contains some extraordinary findings.

IBAC found serious and concerning conduct by senior public officers, including ministers and MPs. It found deliberate attempts to conceal and mislead, misuse of information, undisclosed negotiations that gave UFU secretary Peter Marshall “extraordinary influence”, and conduct contrary to government policies, procedures and codes.

It also found public board appointment processes were politicised and manipulated so appointees would be more amenable to the government's preferred outcomes.

Yet IBAC found no “corrupt conduct”.

Why?

Because Victoria's current legal definition sets a particularly high threshold: the conduct must ultimately amount to a specified criminal offence before IBAC can make a finding of corrupt conduct.

Compare that with NSW, where corrupt conduct can also include conduct amounting to a disciplinary offence, grounds for dismissal, or — importantly — a substantial breach of an applicable ministerial or parliamentary code of conduct.

Queensland also allows serious conduct potentially warranting dismissal to fall within its corruption framework.

So here is the question Victorians should be asking:

If conduct can involve concealment, misleading behaviour, extraordinary influence, breaches of integrity standards and politicised appointments — but still not legally qualify as “corrupt conduct” — is our definition of corruption protecting the public, or setting the bar so high that serious abuses of public trust fall through the gap?

IBAC itself says the vulnerabilities exposed by Operation Richmond still persist in Victoria's public sector.

This isn't about Left versus Right.

It's about whether the people we elect are subject to accountability standards strong enough to actually mean something.

People First believes integrity should be measured by the standard Victorians expect from public office — not simply by whether conduct can be prosecuted as a crime.

This is madness… the Albanese Government is literally selling our farms to pursue its extreme green agenda.

The proposed $50 million sale of the legendary Cobungra Station (near Omeo) to the ‘Silva Carbon Origination Fund’ will see prime cattle grazing land turned into tree plantations to meet Labor’s net zero fiasco.

They are effectively using taxpayer-funded carbon credits to distort the use of land and it’s only going to get worse.

Australians can’t eat pine cones or gum leaves, and we need to protect our food security by keeping our most productive agricultural land growing the food we need.

Make no mistake, the Labor Party is using taxpayers’ money to effectively sell off our nation’s food-producing farms.

This is just the start… I’m worried there will be millions of hectares of farmland turned into plantations, undermining our national food security at the same time under this scheme.

The Coalition is calling on the Cabinet to direct the Foreign Investment Review Board to reject the proposed foreign-backed acquisition of Cobungra Station.

Australians have every reason to be concerned after Labor has already approved the foreign takeover of Tasmania's ‘Rushy Lagoon’.

Despite local community opposition, Labor signed off on the loss of one of Australia's most productive farming enterprises in Tasmania, allowing it to be converted into a carbon project.

That decision showed Labor is prepared to put its net zero agenda ahead of Australia's food security, regional communities and agricultural production.

Now Cobungra Station is before FIRB, Australians deserve to know whether the Government will once again wave through the loss of productive farmland.

We can’t continue to replace food production with carbon credits. Australia's productive farmland exists to feed Australians, support regional jobs and strengthen our national food security.

The national interest test must recognise that food security is a strategic priority and cumulative regional economic impacts must be considered.

Every hectare of productive agricultural land permanently diverted away from farming reduces Australia's ability to produce food into the future.
