Last Wednesday night, Chook and Nathan ran an FF training session with our new members!

The crew had the opportunity to get hands on with the truck, learning about the equipment firefighters rely on and how it’s used in different situations.

Justin, Abbey, Alex and Aurora also put on a demonstration of an overrun, giving everyone a clear look at how it’s carried out.

Awesome to see our new members getting involved and building their skills!

Breanna and Abbey were joined by other Cumberland/Macarthur member's at the Young Members Forum in Dubbo.

The girls got to experience what it’s like from a ranked staff member perspective, what each invited staff do in their role and also got to hear different perspectives from other RFS members from all over NSW.

They also got a tour of the RFS helicopter and got to see how it takes off! Then got a tour of the aviation centre!

In the YMF they got to share their ideas for future developments in each brigade. This was such an amazing experience for them and they both enjoyed it. 🔥
