No surprise to see the big southern media outlets swallowing the spin from dodgy labour hire companies and the Liberal-Nationals 🙄
The fact that the Liberals’ fake fix our job security crisis isn’t creating any permanent jobs isn’t a surprise - that’s the way the legislation was designed. It does not mean that people don’t want permanent jobs - honestly, who would be gullible enough to believe that?
This fake fix was all part of the cover so Michelle Landry, Barnaby Joyce and Scott Morrison could vote for a piece of legislation that actually stripped further rights from coal mine workers and keep the labour hire rort.
Casual miners get paid far less than permanent staff, get no sick leave or holidays and lose their jobs if they speak up about safety issues. The practice is draining hundreds of millions from our CQ economy.
We need to fix this - It’s time for a fresh start for CQ.
