Yr 10 Walk the Talk - Wednesday 9th September
The Respectful Relationships workshop delivered by Enlighten Education will take place for Year 10 students on Wednesday 9th September.
The program covers aspects of healthy and unhealthy relationships and consent, building awareness of domestic violence and women's
homelessness.

Yesterday, students competed in the Inclusion Shield Indoor Soccer at St Mary’s Indoor Centre.

Students played 5 games and displayed great sportsmanship and skills. Congratulations to the 4 students who scored MVP awards.

On Tuesday 1 September, Chifley College Mount Druitt Campus welcomed students and families from across Chifley College for the Chifley Creatives evening.
Parents and students joined us for a gallery walk featuring original poetry inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Each poem reimagined the play’s themes through the voices, experiences and creativity of our students.
The evening continued with student poetry readings, where our young writers shared their work with confidence and pride. Students also received awards and copies of their published anthology, presented by Mr Tom Moth, Director, Educational Leadership, and College Principal Ms Linklater.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success. Congratulations to our talented student poets for their creativity, courage and hard work.

On Thursday 10 September, CCMDC will be recognising R U OK? Day and reminding our school community how important it is to check in with one another.

Students are encouraged to wear a yellow accessory with their school uniform and join us at lunch to write a positive note to a friend.

Our SLC will deliver the messages on Friday morning. Ask R U OK? Any day.

Our Year 10 students will be firing up the BBQ for Ben Chifley RISE Day! Thursday 24 September. Grab a sausage sizzle for $2.50 and a drink for $2.00 while supporting our Year 10 students.

Last week, students from our Student Leadership Council (SLC) and Junior AECG came together to discuss our upcoming Ben Chifley RISE Day. Incorporating student voice is an important part of decision-making at Chifley College Mount Druitt Campus. Our students shared their ideas, feedback and perspectives to help shape the day and ensure it is meaningful, engaging and enjoyable for our school community.
