We have a small number of ‘come and try’ places available in today’s Stay Stronger session at 11.15am.

We are so excited for Play Music On The Porch Day!

Join us this Saturday as the Mt Evelyn Community House and Reading Room Ukulele Social Group meet on the deck and play a range of our favourite songs from 10.30am.

✨Play Music on the Porch Day is held 29th August each year with over 70 countries and 1000 + locations worldwide, this year you are invited to join Mt Evelyn Community House Ukulele Social Group on the deck!

We will be playing some of our favourite songs that you can tap your feet and sing along too.

You’re welcome to bring along your own ukulele, or other instrument and join in playing or have a cuppa and enjoy the music.

✨Get ready for a fun-filled family LEGO Challenge with Ryan Evans - Brickulum with Mt Evelyn Community House and Reading Room proudly funded by Yarra Ranges Council.

Work together to tackle LEGO Masters-style builds, solve creative problems and test your engineering skills.

A fantastic tech-free activity for families to connect, create and have fun together.

For familes with primary school aged children to early teens.

Free - Saturday 12th September Group 1 - 12.30 to 2.00pm or Group 2 - 3.00pm to 4.30pm (session times will be confirmed after booking request).

Today we have a creative 🍃Inspired By Nature -Air Dry Clay Carers Workshop🍃 (fully booked) generously funded in partnership with Community Bank Mt Evelyn,
Yarra Ranges Council and Mt Evelyn Community House and Reading Room.

☕️The Talking Cafe is on today from 2.00pm to 3.00pm at Passchendaele Café - Mount Evelyn, join other community members aged 60+ for a relaxed weekly catch-up.

Talking cafes offer a welcoming space to connect, chat and learn more about Living Our Best Life.

Hosted by a friendly and welcoming Talking Cafe volunteer.
No bookings required, just come along!


🎶 The Mt Evelyn Community House Ukulele Social Group meets each Thursday night from 7.00pm.
Strum along to some favourite songs, learn ukulele techniques, enjoy a chat over a cuppa and have fun!
The group are planning a great range of songs ready for the upcoming Play Music On The Porch Day .
