🌱🎃 MOYSTON EASTER MARKET – GIANT PUMPKIN COMPETITION 2026 🎃🌱
Our Giant Pumpkin Competition hit its third year on Easter Saturday, and it’s clear this little idea has grown into something the whole region enjoys. What started as a fun, low‑cost way for people of all ages and abilities to get outside, into their gardens, and share the joy of growing something together. It’s become a great way for neighbours, families and friends to connect, and the reaction from visitors this year showed just how much people love it.
Even with the tough heat earlier in the season, growers from all over the local region still turned up with an amazing range of pumpkins and veggies. The smiles, the photos and the “you’ve got to see this one” comments made it all worthwhile.

And of course, thank you to everyone who entered, helped, or came along to enjoy the display. The community spirit around this competition is exactly why we started it — and why it keeps getting better each year.
See you in 2027. 🌿💛
