Please note that the next "Creating Community Conversations" session is be held this Thursday 19th April from 6pm to 8pm at the Mulwala Civic Centre meeting room.

Creating an opportunity for community members to engage with Federation Council to have conversations about issues, concepts and ideas.

The May session will be held on the Thursday 17th 10am to 12pm.

Hope all is well as we approach another week into Summer! There has been opportunities arise over the passed few weeks for community conversations and with the next session coming up in Mulwala this week on Thursday 15th February 10am to 12pm in the Civic Centre Meeting Room - "Creating Community Conversations" gives residents and ratepayers the facility to engage with Federation Council Councillors to improve, maintain and enhance our area in a positive, transparent and sustainable manner. It was an honour today to be able to attend two Australia Day functions.
Breakfast at the Savernake School of Arts Hall: a fabulous country affair where the importance of "Community" is highlighted with the number of attendees growing each year!
Corowa hosted the official Federation Council event on the banks of the Murray River; a beautiful setting to enjoy the presentation of Australia Day awards.
Congratulations to ALL nominees whom have contributed their time energy and commitment to the their respective local communities.

Great opportunities have been created for many positive conversations since the Federation Council election on 9th September 2017.
It is very humbling to be elected to form part of the inaugural council.
Hence, I am starting "Creating Community Conversations" sessions to be held at the Mulwala Civic Centre every third Thursday of the month: 10am to 12pm.
Attending some of these sessions will be Cr Kennedy, Mayor Mr Pat Bourke and Itermin General Manager Mr Adrian Butler plus other Councillors/Staff.
Starting this Thursday 18th January - I am very much looking forward to engaging with local community on concepts, ideas and solutions.
