✍️ Did you know? Many people with Parkinson’s develop micrographia, where handwriting becomes smaller and cramped.
It’s a common symptom that can make writing challenging, but with strategies and support, people can adapt and maintain independence in daily tasks. 💙

Last Weeks’s Newly Diagnosed Seminar was a full house, featuring guest speaker Dr Delara Javat, who shared insights into what to expect with Parkinson’s and how it can be managed; from all sorts and methods of medication to exercise and nutrition. The session was followed by a lovely morning tea and a Q&A panel with our knowledgeable specialist nurses.

It was lovely to see everyone’s questions answered and important advice given. We appreciate everyone who attended and hung back for and extra chat.🩷💜
