Friends of Nyerimilang volunteers are seeking hardwood timber to restore the cattle yards for use re the forthcoming "Blast From the Past" event on 27th September. We are looking for hardwood timber 6" x 1/2" x 10ft lengths or 15cm x 4cm x 3metres long.

The Nyerimilang Shop is, as usual, full of varied and high quality items, nearly all made in East Gippsland. Our display of cards has expanded to include an even greater range of techniques and subjects. It may be nearly Spring, but there's still lots of time to enjoy wearing cosy knitted scarves and hats. Helen's colourful glass items, from jewellery to book marks, are catching the light in a window. Local honey and other edible treats are always part of our range.

The second hand bookshop has received an update and some much needed TLC. Still some way to go labelling shelves etc but open for business.

Our volunteers have been busy planting in the East Gippsland Garden and refurbishing the second hand bookshop. Oh! and playing some piano.
