To all my friends, neighbors, and supporters

As the results of the local council election come in, I want to take a moment to say thank you.

While we didn’t get the outcome we hoped for, I am incredibly proud of the campaign we ran — grounded in community, focused on real issues, and driven by the hope for a stronger, more connected Paraburdoo Ward.

To every person who voted, who offered words of encouragement, who put up a sign, shared a post, or knocked on doors with us — thank you. Your belief in me and in the vision we shared means more than I can fully express.

Congratulations to Alana Sullivan on her win. I truly hope she will serve our community with dedication, transparency, and heart.

This experience has been inspiring and though I won’t be joining the council this time, I’m not going anywhere. I remain committed to being involved, to speaking up, and to working for positive change right here at home.

Let’s keep building something better — together.

Election Day is TODAY – there’s still time to vote!

If you haven’t returned your voting package, you can still hand-deliver it and make your vote count in the 2025 Shire of Ashburton Local Government Election for the Tom Price and Paraburdoo Wards.

Need a replacement package? They’re still available at the locations below.

Hand-deliver your completed voting package to:

⚠️ Tom Price Community Centre, Central Road – before 6:00pm today.
⚠️ Paraburdoo Library – between 10:00am and 12:00pm today.

It’s now too late to post completed voting packages for the 2025 Shire of Ashburton election in the Tom Price and Paraburdoo Wards.

You can still have your say! Before election day on 18 October 2025 completed voting packages can be hand delivered to the following locations:

🏛️ Tom Price Administration Office, 246 Poinciana Street, Tom Price between 9:00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday

📚 Paraburdoo Library (rear of the Ashburton Hall), Ashburton Avenue, Paraburdoo between 9:00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday, or on Saturdays between 10:00am and 12:00pm.

On election day, completed voting packages can be delivered to the Tom Price Community Centre, Central Road, Tom Price, before 6:00pm, or to the Paraburdoo Library between 10:00am and 12:00pm.

If you have not yet received your voting package or if you have spoilt ballot papers, replacement packages can be obtained from the Shire’s Tom Price Administration Office, or the Paraburdoo Library, as detailed above.

How to Vote in the 2025 Local Government Election 📃

Voting is simple – you choose how many candidates you want to support using optional preferential voting:

1️⃣ Vote for one – Place a number 1 next to your preferred candidate.
2️⃣ Vote for some – Place a 1 next to your first choice, then a 2 next to your second.
3️⃣ Vote for all – Number every box in order of your preference until all candidates are chosen.

To make sure your vote is received in time, return your completed ballot via Australia Post by 6 October 2025.

If you can’t return your ballot by post, you can drop it into the ballot box at:
✅ Paraburdoo Library
✅ Tom Price Administration Office

The election will be held on Saturday, 18 October 2025.

Don’t leave it too late, your voice matters!
