The Ledman Institute is an organisation run by doctors for doctors. We are committed to developing competent and successful doctors throughout their careers - from medical students to interns to registrars - using interactive professional development workshops and coaching. We are a dedicated team excited to show you that a focus on your career, communication skills and professionalism will help y
ou develop greater confidence, effectiveness, efficiency, competence and success in the workplace. Our professional development workshops are held in Melbourne's CBD on weekends to avoid disrupting your study and/or work commitments. We provide coaching with Dr Paul Eleftheriou for students who prefer a personalised and tailored approach. We also have an online CV & Cover Letter service for students who can upload their application documents to be reviewed and edited by Dr Paul Eleftheriou within 3 business days. For all our material and content we have engaged Victoria's medical schools, major health services, student societies and the Post-Graduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) and other governing organisations to ensure we appropriately cater for all your professional development needs within the local context. We have over 10 years experience in delivering didactic, interactive and group-based medical education. Our focus is on interactive professional development training, delivered most effectively in small group settings with peer-to-peer simulated sessions. Our objective is to teach pragmatic and systematic principles within the domains of Careers, Communication and Professionalism which can be applied to workshops (or for Coaching) such as:
- Interview preparation for medical school entrance and doctor-in-training (i.e. intern) roles
- Oral and written communication skills
- Self-management, organisational skills and people/patient management
