Today I found out that one of my participants passed away over the weekend and it’s hit harder than I expected.

When you work this closely with people, you don’t just coordinate supports — you build real relationships. You share laughs, challenges, progress and moments that stay with you. He had the driest sense of humour and could always make me laugh. I’ll never forget him.

My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. Thinking of you all and holding you close in my thoughts 🌻

🌴 I’m officially on leave! 🌴

I’ll be taking a short break and will be returning to work on Monday, 19 January.

Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be heading down the coast with the family in the caravan and looking forward to some much-needed rest and relaxation.

I’ll be checking emails intermittently during this time and will respond to calls if required, however responses may be delayed.

See you all in 2 weeks — refreshed and ready to go! 😊

🎄 Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 🎄

As we wrap up the year, I just want to take a moment to wish all participants, families and providers a very Merry Christmas and a safe, happy New Year.

It’s hard to believe that I’ve now been operating for over 12 months — truly the best decision I ever made was taking the leap and going out on my own. I’m incredibly grateful for the trust, support and connections that have grown along the way.

I will be working through the Christmas period, with the exception of public holidays. Please note, I will be taking some well-earned leave in the New Year from 4 January to 18 January.

🌴 Out of Office: Bali Edition 🌴

I’m currently taking some time out overseas in beautiful Bali with my family — soaking up the sunshine, relaxing by the pool and enjoying a bit of much-needed R&R ☀️🌺

I’ll be back on Monday, 17th November, refreshed and ready to get back into things.

🚨 NDIS Changes Coming from July 1st 🚨

To all the amazing participants, families, providers and community members I support – please be aware that there are important NDIS pricing and guideline changes coming into effect from 1 July 2025.

Here's a quick summary of what you need to know:

🧾 Price Guide Updates
The NDIS is releasing a new set of pricing arrangements. While some therapy rates are changing (e.g. psychology, physio), support coordination pricing will remain the same.

🚗 Travel Charges
If you're working with allied health (like OTs, physios or psychologists), you may see changes to travel charge caps – they’ll now only be able to charge up to 50% of the session rate for travel.
✅ There are no changes to support coordinator travel charges at this stage.

💬 Plan Reviews and Goals
Now more than ever, it’s important to have clear goals and supports reflected in your NDIS plan. If your plan review is coming up soon, or you’re unsure how these changes may impact you, please feel free to reach out.
