Over 10% of the Australian workforce is exposed to the kind of excessive noise that can result in noise induced hearing loss. Besides hearing loss, occupational noise is associated with tinnitus, cardiovascular disease, depression, increased risk of accidents, and decreased productivity. Do you have a noise control issue that puts others wellbeing at risk?

A small increase in decibels dramatically increases sound pressure. For example, an 80 dB sound has ten times more sound pressure than a 70 dB sound and 100 times more pressure than a 60 dB sound. The ratings in this Noise Calculator are a guide and should not be interpreted as a recommendation.

We are pleased to announce that Quiet Acoustics' very own Dr Michael Haywood has been invited to speak at the Australian Gas Technology Conference and Exhibition. A tunnel made purely from our structural acoustic panels will be on display for everyone to experience how the technology works first hand.

The Austalian Gas and Technology Conference and Exhibition runs from 1st - 3rd July at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. We hope to see you there.

Lightweight and strong even NASA use aluminium honeycomb. The Quiet Acoustics aluminium honeycomb panels have micro-perforations that cancel noise using the latest in acoustic resonance technology, while still incorporating the properties of a light and strong structural panel thats easy to fabricate.

This week, engineers at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville moved a Composite Crew Module (CCM) into the Environmental Test Facility vacuum chamber to gauge how well a space structure fabricated with composite materials will react in a simulated space environment. Data gained during th...
