The Shopfront

The Shopfront A social outreach agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth.

The role and function of The Shopfront is to relieve poverty and suffering in an environment that offers practical assistance, fellowship and hospitality. To provide and offer mutual help, assistance and act as a referral to visitors who may be experiencing difficulties dealing with problems in their life i.e. accommodation, budgeting, depression, hunger, loneliness, addictions, violence;
To offer

mutual help programs for the relief of sickness, distress and suffering within the general community;
To provide warm, caring, fellowship and hospitality to the visitors;
To provide an opportunity for the visitors to socialise and make friends; and
To network with other agencies to enable us to effectively assist people.

Word must be getting around - new shower guests today .
1️⃣is a common story we hear -> 'I'm in a Homewest unit but the hot 🔥 water or sometimes even the water is not working'.
Or -> 'I pay to get indoors and share some floor sleeping space from 7PM - 7AM but don't have access to a shower 🛁'.
