From my book of poetry LASH LAROO RODE IN, printed 1992, subtitled CAPRICORNIA AWAKES!.

POLICY STATEMENT: in the form of a poem I wrote some 40 years ago and published in 1992.

It's still my vision of and for the Territory, what I have witnessed in its landscapes, its spirit, its first people, their potential, and those who would take advantage of it. Although I have stood in every election of the last 38 years bar one, concerned with the , , and with , , and , I'm yet to see this vision realised, and hope that one day Carpicornia will indeed awaken.

I'd invite you to read it and picture-paint a little bit, share it around if you agree. 10th to 14th stanzas, highlighted for your convenience. Although the whole thing is pretty good, even if I say so myself. Would make a good song.

I'm doing it, again!.

Following the mobiles. In Numbulwar yesterday with myn' big bruja Walter Rogers (Kolbong) about to charter to Groote Eylandt. It's been pretty intense so far.

Speaking to Countrymen everywhere in Ngukurr, Urapunga, Bulman, Beswick, Barunga, Gapuwiyak and Numbulwar, it seems there is an overwhelming amount of support for my policies and candidacy. Let's hope it translates into votes.
