Protect Our Wilderness //

~
CURRENT PROJECT:

Whalers Way is a stunning piece of coastline at the southern tip of the Eyre Peninsula.

~

Heritage Listed nearly 40 years ago for its important conservation value.

~

It is home to many endangered birds and animals, Native Vegetation and important marine life, including sea lions and migratory So

uthern Right Whales.

~

The science is clear, the natural world must be preserved.

~

To allow this development with an industrial level of traffic, noise, light and pollution to destroy this area is a step in the wrong direction.

~

Thousands of jobs on the Eyre Peninsula rely on our pristine coastline and clean green image.

~

Please join us to protect our wilderness for future generations!

Chemicals are routinely sprayed in
conventional non-organic agriculture. These chemicals
are broad spectrum insecticides and herbicides. They
do damage and they hurt biodiversity. The
neonicotinoids for so long proclaimed safe for bees
were, as it turns out, not safe for bees. Glyphosate
which heralded a new era in w**d control has been
shown to be a ‘probable carcinogen’ and it is
everywhere in our environment now.

These giant companies love to tell us that are safe, but
are they really?
We’d love to hear your opinion & thoughts on this.

FACT: Australia has no native animals with hooves or heavier than 92kg, but we now have the WORLD'S LARGEST POPULATIONS of FERAL SAMBAR DEER (up to 300kg), FERAL WATER BUFFALO (up to 1200kg), FERAL CAMELS (up to 800kg), FERAL GOATS (up to 90kg) and FERAL BANTENG (up to 800kg)!! 🤯😳

These feral animals are trashing, trampling and polluting rivers and landscapes, stopping regeneration, draining wetlands and sending our native wildlife extinct.

👍if you agree it's time for scaled up funding and focus on feral animals to protect Australia.

Penguins have been sighted on a remote Bass Strait island for the first time in decades after the successful eradication of feral cats and possums.

Do you need 64,000 reasons to smile today ?

Drone footage just captured something extraordinary: 64,000 green sea turtles gathering near Raine Island in Australia's Great Barrier Reef. These ancient creatures are returning to the exact waters where they were born, completing migrations that span thousands of miles to lay their eggs in the same sanctuary that sustained them.
What strikes you watching this isn't just the scale—it's what it represents. These turtles have survived for millions of years, yet today they're navigating a world transformed by climate change, pollution, and habitat loss. This gathering is a testament to their resilience, but it's also a fragile moment. Marine protected areas like the Great Barrier Reef aren't just beautiful—they're essential infrastructure for survival.
Conservation efforts are working. This footage is proof. But it's also a reminder that protecting these ecosystems isn't something that happens in the background. It's something we all have a stake in, because the health of our oceans shapes the future we're building for everyone
