Today is R U Okay Day. As we continue to de-stigmatise the conversation around mental health this year’s theme, ‘Are they really ok? Ask them today', invites students to check in with others as we continue to study from home. To find out more about the campaign and to access a range of resources, students can access the following link: https://www.ruok.org.au/.

As another book week draws to a close, we acknowledge that this year’s virtual festivities may have looked very different from years gone past… While resonating with the event’s theme “Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds”, we witnessed students re-imagine the ways in which we may celebrate the world of literature, whilst participating in parades in the online space. We're rounding up the most anticipated young adult books of 2021! Books by Angie Thomas, Leigh Bardugo, Julie Kagawa and more.

Whilst studying and working from home, we may find ourselves becoming increasingly sedentary. In the following article, experts advise of how we can incorporate active movement into our daily routine. Taking a quick walk, setting a timer to move about or standing up whilst working are all simple tips to encourage us to increase our mobility wherever possible.

Most people don’t move enough. The trick is to do what you can whenever you can, even if it’s just standing up more than once an hour and walking a bit.
