We have some beautiful organic fresh produce harvested by Cultivating Community. Last year we had Department of Families Fairness and Housing Food Relief Grant and within our partnership some farming was done so that we could have more fresh produce harvested in 2026. We’ll have this today at Twilight Market with limited supplies!

Women Circle participants had a great time sharing knowledge of the use of AI. In our next session, we will have a Part Two to use AI tools to customise our CVs and cover letters.

Topic: The Application of AI Tools for Job Applications – Part Two

And on 25 June, Women Circle will host a Vision Board Session to bring our aspirations to life through images, words and ideas. It's a visual map of the future we want to build. This will be the last session in this term.

How do we make our community a safer and fairer place for older people?

Navigating and staying safe in the public space, and education about elder abuse, top the list when it comes to answering this question.

Yarra Council is hosting a special event, including afternoon tea, to raise awareness about both topics. An expert from Elders Rights Australia, and the Multicultural Liaison Proactive Policing Unit, will speak and answer questions.
