After months of asking, the report from the independent review of cohealth general practice and related services has been released. This is a win for community and a win for transparency.

We commend the Federal Government for the release and all parties for their agreement to this outcome

What matters now is that there is a clear and credible path forward.

That path must begin with an honest acknowledgement of the mistakes that were made, including the trauma caused at a human level, and a genuine commitment to rebuilding trust with staff, patients and the communities served.

Itโ€™s time to work together to make sure these services are never again at risk of closing.
