Robe is celebrating being ranked 40th in the Australian Traveller 100 Best Towns to visit in Australia.

Selected by a panel of 15 well-known Australians and tourism industry experts, including Ernie Dingo and Catriona Rowntree, the list celebrates the towns that capture the very best of Australia’s character, charm and visitor experience.

Robe was proudly recognised in the History & Heritage category and we would like to congratulate our entire community for the hard work, outstanding customer service, passion and pride that continue to make our town such a memorable destination for visitors.

From our accommodation providers, hospitality venues and local businesses to volunteers, community groups and residents, this recognition belongs to everyone who help share the stories, character and welcoming spirit that makes Robe so special.

You know your paddock like the back of your hand, but powerlines can still catch people out. The more you see something, the less you notice it.

Powerlines are part of the landscape — until they’re not.

Across South Australia, farm machinery hits poles and wires around 20 times a year.
If you’re working near them, take a second look.

Plan your route. Check your height. Look up and live. Find out how to locate powerlines and stay safe through Power Networks 👉 sapowernetworks.co/FarmSafety
