The Lions Club of Rowville is situated in the City of Knox at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges in Victoria. We currently have a membership of 18 and are always looking for New Members to assist with the many Projects that we do to assist the Community. We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Wellington Care Centre Rowville, 2 Le John St Rowville VIC 3178, 7-00pm for 7-30pm start

s open to both men and women. As well as helping the less fortunate than ourselves we also have fun while working and at our social events

Lions Australia is part of an international association, filled with people who are joined by the common desire to make their communities better, by using their creativity, enthusiasm and energy.

🦁 New Member Induction – Welcome Lion Satnam! 🦁

The Lions Club of Rowville is going from strength to strength, and we are delighted to see our club continue to grow through the recruitment of new members.

On 20 August 2026, we had the pleasure of inducting our newest member, Lion Satnam, into the Lions Club of Rowville.

A special thank you to PDG Keith for conducting the induction ceremony and welcoming Lion Satnam into the Lions family.

Father’s Day Family Event at Bunnings Scoresby on 3/9/26 from 6-8pm.
The Lions Club of Rowville will be giving away free kicks books. There are many activities and free sausages sizzles. Please come to receive free books for your kids.

🥫 Rowville Lions Club Food Drive – Making a Difference Together 🦁

The Rowville Lions Club food drive has been running successfully for some time, and we are delighted to see the continued generosity and support from our local community.

All food collected through our program is donated to Share Space Inc, our local food charity, which supports families and individuals experiencing hardship.

Thanks to the extremely generous donations we have received, we have now been able to extend our food collection bins to additional stores, allowing even more members of our community to contribute and help those in need.

A huge thank you to Knox City Council for supporting our food drive program through the Minor Grants Program. Your generous support has helped us expand this important community initiative.

There are many families in our community facing financial and other challenges. Through this program, we are proud to help provide much-needed food support to many local families.

🙏 Thank you once again to Knox City Council for approving our grant and supporting this important project.

And a very special thank you to all our Rowville Lions Club volunteers who continue to give their time, energy and commitment to making this program a success.

The Rowville Lions Club is proud to share that our Food Drive Collection Project has once again been a great success.

We have emptied today 18/8/26 the following food collection bins,
1. Woollies at Mountain Gate shopping centre
2. Woollies at Knox shopping centre 3. Woollies at Dandenong plaza
4. Coles at Mountain Gate shopping centre
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our local community. Your donations will help support individuals and families who are experiencing hardship.

**🌟 Rowville Lions Club Fundraiser Dinner Dance – Supporting the Lions Vision Project 🌟**

The Rowville Lions Club is proud to host a **Fundraiser Dinner Dance** on **3 October 2026** in support of the **Lions Vision Project**.

This project gives hope to people who are struggling to access cataract surgery, helping restore their sight and giving them the priceless opportunity to see their loved ones again.

Thanks to the incredible support from our previous fundraiser, we donated **$10000.00** towards cataract surgery projects. Together, we helped support **521 cataract surgeries**, giving hundreds of people the gift of sight and a second chance to experience life with their families and loved ones.

We invite you to join us for a wonderful evening of great food, music, dancing, and community spirit while supporting this life-changing cause.

Rowville Lions Club Food Drive – Growing Our Support Across the Community

The Rowville Lions Club Food Drive Program has been extremely successful, and thanks to the incredible support from our community and Woolworths management, we are delighted to announce that we have extended our services to more locations.

We now have food drive collection bins at the following Woolworths stores:

1. Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre
2. Waverley Gardens Shopping Centre
3. M-City Shopping Centre
4. Wheelers Hill Shopping Centre
5. The Glen Shopping Centre
6. Dandenong Junction Shopping Centre

A heartfelt thank you to Woolworths management for supporting our initiative and providing us with the opportunity to help more people in our local communities.

We would also like to sincerely thank everyone in our community who continues to donate and support this program. Your generosity is making a real difference.

Many local families are currently experiencing financial difficulties and struggling to put enough food on the table. Through this program, we are able to provide much-needed food assistance to families who need our support.

Together, we can make a difference and help ensure that no family goes to bed with an empty stomach.

💙 A Proud Day for Rowville Lions Club! 🦁
Today, members of the Rowville Lions Club had the privilege of meeting representatives from the Monash Children’s Foundation and Dr Peter Head, Paediatric Rheumatologist, to present our donation of $8,178.47 towards the purchase of a specialised ultrasound machine.

This donation is part of our contribution to an amazing project that will help provide better care and diagnosis for many children. This special ultrasound machine will make a real difference to young patients and their families for years to come. 💙

A very special thank you to the Australian Lions Foundation for supporting us through the 50/50 grant, which helped make this contribution possible.

We would also like to sincerely thank all our wonderful Rowville Lions volunteers who have given their time, energy and dedication to fundraising for this important project. Without your support, contributions like this would not be possible.

We are incredibly proud to be part of a project that will help improve the lives of children in our community. 🦁💙

Helping Australians See Clearly

The Lions Eye Health Program (LEHP) aims to reduce the incidence and impact of vision loss in Australia through education and awareness activities, promoting regular eye examinations and conducting free children's vision screenings.

The Rowville Lions Club is delighted to announce that our Lions Eye Health Program have been supported through a grant from Bendigo Bank FTG and ALF. A huge thanks to both organisations for the generous support and ongoing commitment to the Rowville Lions Club. Your contribution help us to purchase a new LEHP kits to provide a positive difference in our community children.
