Jamison High School

Jamison High School This is the only official page of Jamison High School. Jamison High School was founded in 1982. We are a school that has values at its core.

We are a school that relishes the challenge of being a comprehensive high school. We take pride in our academic achievements from university entrance to apprenticeships. We take pride in the performance of our students in a wide range of extracurricular activities from sport to performance to achievement in academic competitions. We take pride in our inclusiveness and our commitment to the wellbei

ng of students. We take pride in our connection to our community and the way we work together to ensure our students get the best outcomes they can. We believe the HSC starts in Year 7 because we want the students to have good habits of learning, we believe that secondary education is not the end but the start because learning should be lifelong; we believe in uniform because it is about identity and responsibility, we believe in involving our parents all the way because it takes a village to raise a child. At Jamison we do what we do not because it is expedient but because it is right.

Congratulations to our Under 15s Boys Basketball Team who competed at the NSW Regional Basketball Tournament at Cambridge Park Basketball Stadium.
They competed well across the day, winning 3 out of their 5 group games against Miller Technology High School, MacArthur Adventist College and Tyndale Christian School. Two losses to Richard Johnson Anglican College and Westfields Sports High School meant that the boys narrowly missed a semi-final appearance.
The team should be extremely proud of the effort they put in throughout the day.
Their next challenge will be a knockout game against the Hills Sport High School on June 23.

Congratulations to Jamison High School’s Open Boys Basketball team who competed at the NSW Regional State Top 20 tournament in Dubbo. The team fought hard in the group games with a close loss to Westfield Sports High School and a convincing win against Newcastle High School.
They fell short in the semi final against Dubbo High School after a fierce effort.
The team should be extremely proud of their performance and the way that they represented Jamison High School. Their next competition is an upcoming gala day on June 11th where they will play against public, catholic and independent schools.

📰 Canteen Update – Which Super Sub Are You Choosing? 👀

Last week for the $6.50 Super Sub special.
Choose from:
Chicken & Gravy – warm and classic
Fresh Sweet Chilli Chicken – fresh with a little kick
Garlic Bread Chicken – yes, it tastes as good as it sounds

Flavours may change from day to day, so if students want a specific one, they can order it during the break before.

Don’t wait until it’s sold out and then act shocked 😄
