Let me introduce our amazing friends who have been a huge part of ‘Donate a Dinner’—Erin and her husband, Brett, my gorgeous god children James & Willow.
As the heart behind Surfside Homes, they’ve been instrumental in helping us grow this initiative and spread kindness to families in need.

Erin’s passion for giving back and her unwavering support have truly made a difference in shaping ‘Donate a Dinner’ into what it is today. Together, with their generous spirit and dedication, they’ve helped us bring hope and Christmas joy to so many families.

Hi, I thought it might be time to introduce myself! I’m Angela, and this is my gorgeous family—my husband Luke, our daughter Novia, and our cheeky cavaliers, Louis and Ralph.

‘Donate a Dinner’ started as an idea close to my heart—a way to provide Christmas meals to families in need and bring kindness and the Christmas spirit to those who need it most. What began as a small spark has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of. Thanks to the amazing support of our wonderful friends, the McManus and Turner families, and our incredible community, we’re set to make this year our biggest ‘Donate a Dinner’ yet!

Nominations and gifting for this year’s ‘Donate a Dinner’ open on the 1st of December! Let’s come together to feed families in need this holiday season. It’s more than just a meal—it’s about love, support, and making a difference. Together, we can bring a little hope and joy to those who need it most. We are back for 2024!
We received overwhelming support last year and this year we are wanting to go even bigger! We have made some new friends with the team over at SunnyKids and are very excited to get our dinner boxes out to as many families as we can!
We will open registration for both Nominations and Gifts from December 1st.

What is Donate a Dinner all about?
Donate a Dinner was created by Ange & Luke to give 100 families Christmas Dinner this year. There are plenty of families doing it tough and this idea was all about giving back to the community in a way that they thought would make Christmas time less stressful.
The Dinner Boxes contain fresh ingredients that the team have handpicked for each box- don’t worry there is a menu card inside with instructions on how to create the perfect Christmas Roast Dinner.
None of this would have been possible without the help of two other families who have put their hands up to get the project off the ground- Erin & Brett, Rei & Ezra.
Together the three families are preparing for a Christmas Drop like no other….

We are a local Sunshine Coast Family who run a small business.

We know what it’s like to struggle at times and wanted to give to families in our community.

Our favourite time of the year is Christmas time, it’s a time that our family gets together to reflect on the year and talk about our hopes for the coming year. We have always been fortunate enough to be seated together and enjoying a delicious meal.

We wanted to create something that would allow other families to do the same thing so we have created the Donate a Dinner project.

By Gifting a Dinner to a family in need you are not only Gifting the meal but the experience for them to all sit together and enjoy a meal without the additional stress of how to pay for it. All of our boxes are filled with fresh ingredients and instructions to make the perfect Roast Dinner -with a few surprises too!

We have set a goal to deliver 100 Boxes to feed families in need.

Each box has been lovingly prepared by ourselves, our family & our dear friends.

Our wonderful suppliers are all Sunshine Coast Hinterland small businesses who have so generously encouraged our Donate a Dinner Project
