In Term 2, Ethan attended the Maritime Showcase at the Port of Brisbane and discovered the amazing opportunities available in the maritime industry. It was the beginning of his journey exploring career pathways while still at school.

Since then, Ethan has successfully completed work experience with the Port of Brisbane and is now undertaking a Certificate II in Maritime Operations!

What an amazing experience and pathway for Ethan to explore his interests, gain valuable industry experience and work towards his future career.

We are incredibly proud of Ethan for balancing his school subjects while embracing this fantastic opportunity.

We can't wait to see where this journey takes you next, Ethan!

Celebrating Michi!

Today, we received a lovely message from Kate Mitchell, Educator, RN – Community Services and Nursing, recognising the wonderful work of our school-based trainee, Machiko.

Michi has completed her traineeship placement hours with Churches of Christ, Parklands Boulevard Little Mountain and is almost finished her written assignments.

Kate described Michi as a positive, respectful, mature and caring student who was very well liked by both residents and staff. Her assignments have consistently been completed to a high standard.

We are so proud of Michi and wish her every success as she works towards her future career in nursing.

Congratulations, Michi!
