Happy 9th Birthday to our beautiful boy, Jasper 🐾🤍

Our fluffy UNSW mascot is officially 9 today, and somehow just as cheeky, charming, and lovable as ever. You bring so much joy not just to our family, but to everyone lucky enough to meet you.

This year’s birthday content might not be up to Jasper’s usual high standards (his regular human is currently in Japan 😅), but the love is just as strong – and we know you’ll forgive the spare human behind the camera.

We’re so excited to celebrate you properly at your upcoming birthday party 🎉 Details are in the last photo – and everyone is invited!

We’ll also be holding a raffle on the day to raise funds for NSW Samoyed Rescue, so come along, celebrate Jasper, and support an amazing cause.

Experience a fun, fluffy and joyful Santa Pawtraits day with Jasper and Luka, thanks to and !
Tickets starting at $10 for entry passes, $40 for UNSW Photo Club and NSW Samoyed Club Members for professional photos with Santa, and $50 for General public professional photos with Santa! Hint: if you want to grab the $40 discounted portraits photos, grab a $5 associate membership with the NSW Samoyed Club!
Only one ticket is needed per family/friend group!

This year will be our 2nd year partnering with UNSW Photo Club, and it's been 6 years since we started this annual event!

There will be samoyeds for rent for your photos (if you wanted more fluffy fun!); props, two beach christmas booths and a professional Santa christmas photo booth; food and drinks for sale; and limited edition Samoyed Club merch too if you're looking for a perfect gift for a samoyed owner!

We hope you can all join us, and feel free to bring your family, friends, and furry friends (on a leash) along too!

From stealing hearts on campus to earning not one but two honorary Dogtorates, you've done it all with fluff, grace and a wagging tail. 💙 UNSW wouldn't be the same without your daily dose of pawsitivity, cuddles, and iconic Samoyed smile.

Here’s to 8 years of belly rubs, law degrees, and spreading joy to students and staff alike. We hope your day is filled with treats, tummy scratches, and all the love you deserve! 🐶✨

My local council voted to close the off-leash dog park due to fake claims from jealous neighbours! They say that Jasper and Luka are engaging in "Anti-Social behaviour " such as lighting fireworks and kicking their fence! If we were that talented, we wouldn't be wasting it on them, that's for sure!

There's already a very limited number of dog parks in the area and this removal will have a negative impact on the physical wellbeing of our dogs and the mental health of owners who have benefited from the incredible sense of community developed among dog owners. You've seen on our daily stories how many people and dogs use this park peacefully and happily. Human even helps illiterate and under privileged people understand their water bills, emails and letters as they're too shy to go to a place without their dog to seek help at this park.

Unfortunately the Council takes whatever these small amount of jealous neighbours say as the truth with no evidence to back it up. These neighbours prefer to see the public park as "their backyard" and want it to be empty just so they can use it as their own personal backyard extension.

Please sign our petition to have this decision overturned.
