When I chaired the Senate inquiry into university governance, we heard some deeply concerning evidence about what was going on behind closed doors, and how people who spoke up were treated. It was clear things needed to change, and the reforms we’re making will bring greater accountability and transparency across our universities

ANU’s acknowledgement and apology are important steps. I’m glad to see them working to make things right and earn back trust.
