Our brigade provides communications and incident management support for Rural Fire Service operations within the Hornsby/Ku-ring-gai Rural Fire District

Friday and Saturday our brigade assisted in the district Incident Management Exercise (IMX). This exercise gave members an opportunity to practice their skills working among a full incident management team tackling a realistic fire scenario. We also had members working in the Activation Cell, the team that simulate the trucks in the field as well as role play other outside resources and assisting agencies.

Our crew assisted the District Exercise today, a training drill involving field brigades participating in diverse scenarios dispatched and supported by our communications team members.
