Hi Tamborine Mountain Community
As some of you may have seen the empty retail shop at the IGA complex I’m writing to explain the situation for Mountain Pumps.
With the rising costs of rent, operating costs and materials, accompanied by staff shortages and other contributing factors it has become not commercially viable to continue to operate the retail store.
As some of you may also know James my right hand man has now also moved on resulting in only myself and Muriel left to run the shop and complete The in-field service work.
Please remember Mountain Pumps was a small business with many overheads, Over the past 12 months I’ve also had to find extra work for myself over and above the work within mountain pumps resulting in a demise to communication and management of the shop. I acknowledge that some of my customers have been let down and had to find solutions elsewhere.
After many sleepless nights, I have decided the best option is to move the business to a mobile service, resulting in lower overheads and a more manageable staff solution.
There is going to be a period of which I will not be available to attend service work due to the time required to transition to the mobile platform. I appreciate your patience and understanding In the interim.
I ask that you reframe from making undesirable comments about my business and it’s staff.
I look forward to providing a new level of service once I can get my mobile service platform up and running.
Thank you all so much for the comments of support for Mountain Pumps, it’s overwhelming. Myself and Muriel will push forward and before you know it we will be back (mobile) better than ever.
Also just an update to the issue of water filters, I am working on a online ordering system with a drop off service.
Regards
Adam
