At the end of last term, our Year 6 Colour Run brought together students, staff and families for an afternoon full of fun, laughter and colour. It was fantastic to see our whole school community getting involved and supporting one another.

A huge thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and supported our Year 6 fundraising efforts. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and helped make the event such a success.

We loved seeing so many smiling faces and colourful memories being made! 🎉🌈

We can’t believe there are only 3 weeks left of Term 2!

5B has been very busy learning about 3D objects and their nets in Mathematics, enjoying PE lessons, visiting the library and reading together during our literacy groups. It has been wonderful to see everyone working hard, learning new skills and having fun along the way. We’re looking forward to making the most of the final few weeks of the term!

1C have been working hard this term, exploring new learning experiences and proudly presenting our class assembly.
During Reconciliation week, we decorated stones with Aboriginal symbols and words, which were added to our dry creek riverbed called Yarraga Ngurra.

One of the highlights of the term was our excursion to Sydney Zoo. We had a wonderful day being explorers and learnt many facts about a variety of animals.
In our class assembly, we have focused on how we all "shine" in different ways. We all shared something that makes us shine and performed a dance as part of our class assembly.

In Mathematics, we have been learning how to measure length using informal units.
It has been a productive and exciting term for 1C.

We are proud of our achievements and will continue to do our best throughout the rest of the term.

5L have had a fantastic start to Term 2! We have continued building strong friendships and teamwork skills through activities such as fitness, where students have been encouraging and supporting one another to achieve positive outcomes.
To acknowledge Reconciliation Week, students created personalised stones from our dry river bed and decorated them with symbols that represent who they are. It was wonderful to see their creativity and thoughtful reflections shine through.
We are also very proud to announce that two students from 5L have been selected to represent our class in the Spelling Bee Finals. They are excited to showcase their spelling skills in front of the school.
A huge congratulations to two more 5L students who have qualified for the RIDGES Cross Country Finals, an amazing achievement!
We are approaching the second half of Term 2 with enthusiasm, determination, and plenty of smiles!

From Seals to Unity: 2S Our Story
We enjoyed creating our first hybrid text,
Seals inspired us as facts and fun mixed.
Learning about their world beneath the waves,
Our creativity grew with each page we made.

Sydney Zoo brought laughter and memories anew,
Animals amazed us and friendships grew.
Exploring habitats and spotting creatures galore,
Every moment was magic to cherish and adore.

At JPPS, we laid rocks along the creek bed,
For Reconciliation and showing respect.
Each rock is a message of unity and care,
Bringing our school community together to share.

Good morning! 4G, 4L & 4W are excited to continue their learning at Taronga Zoo this morning. We finished a yummy breakfast then got up close and personal with reptiles. Next we learned about other amazing animals in woodland, rainforest and desert habitats. We have been exploring the zoo and will be heading home soon after some recess.
