Every so often we get an email that stops us in our tracks.

Stephanie Andrews ( Steph)
Steph lived with Disability and was supported by YellowBridge QLD for 15 years.
She endured many struggles during her lifetime and in the early days, we’ve just been told would have really benefited from being able to access the services of organisations like Protea Place and what they had to offer.
She was an advocate for supporting vulnerable women, giving them hope, knowing that there is a better life for them.
Steph had wanted to become a volunteer at Protea Place however she did not get this opportunity as she passed away from Cancer in December 2023.
This donation of $1,500.00 is made on behalf of Steph 🫶🏻🩷💕🫶🏻
We are truly honoured by your beautiful gesture xx

are so much MORE than amazing scones and country kitchens .
They are a mighty tribe of women who create change in our communities .
Did you know QCWA are responsible for compulsory seat belts and white line marking on roads, and flashing lights in school zones for safety in Qld ✅
Just a few examples of the lobbying power of this incredible organisation 💜

Today the state executive team visited PP as part of their annual conference held in Toowoomba this week.
Gab served up her usual delicacies including SCONES 🍰
