So much in love with this doggo print available for preorder now through .and.hux.fabrics

Perfect as a mother's day gift for dog mums, or skin puppy mums, or as a gift for yourself! With lovely earthy, warm tones it is happily unisex and suitable for any occasion or area in your house.

This absolutely stunning divided basket came together so beautifully with the canvas outer, and water resistant canvas lining making it rugged and easy to keep clean.

Take a small step towards more ethical choices, and start using fabric baskets for storage over the plastic alternatives. This delightful basket is available through my store and supports not only my small business but also another local small business (being jj and hux).

So why do you need unpaper towels?
Why should you spend the money on these ones?

"I have seen ones for a lot cheaper, and ones that are just a piece of flannelette, so are softer and roll up easier."
Potentially true, and true.

But, I have spent many, many hours sourcing supply chains, product testing, and researching to provide the best and most sustainable solution, in my opinion.
These Unpapers are made from organic cotton where I can, using certified textiles to ensure the best manufacturing and customer experience. I source 80% of my fabrics from Australian based small businesses (often WAHM like myself), with Perth or West Aussie based as preference.

The products are also made from 100% natural fibres, being bamboo or cotton. Other products that I have come across have used nylon or polyester threads for the sewing, which precludes the products from being compostable and thus whilst being more ecofriendly than paper, they don't have a sustainable end fate.

So back down off my soapbox, and head over to to grab some unpapers and unsponges or send me a DM to custom order!

It's a public holiday here in WA today, so we took the opportunity to teach Miss 7 uno. She loved it!
But then, I had to whip up a quick card holder so that she can see her cards (and we can't see them!)

Made with fabric scraps and cereal box cardboard, it was also a great reusing opportunity!

How awesome is this set?
Was so proud to be a strike sewist for .and.hux.fabrics latest preorder round and whipped up this stunning swim / nappy pod and wet bag.
Both are made from PUL and are waterproof and absolutely perfect for a trip to the pools, holidays, or even pack the kidlets stuff for daycare.
Little Miss Monkey is using one of the pods at school for her swimming lessons this week, fitting in it a towel, bathers, goggles, hat, and sandals.
