Internet Facilities
Free public access to the Internet is available at Mitcham and Blackwood Libraries. People under the age of 18 require signed permission from a legal guardian. We offer a variety of Internet classes and also wireless connection for personal wireless devices. Our Catalogue and Website
Our catalogue allows you to search for a title, favourite author or subject shelved at either our Blackwood or Mitcham branch. Members can renew and reserve items in the Library or from home via the Internet. Our website lists current events and news, booklists and review. Our selection of on line resources includes subscription only websites for our members as well as free learning, teaching and research websites for all ages. Borrowing Limits
On the first visit 5 items in total. Following visits up to 30 items in total. Restrictions apply for CDs, DVDs and Express items. How Long? Items may be returned to either Blackwood Library or Mitcham Library. Items may be renewed.
• 4 weeks for books, audio books and language kits
• 2 weeks for CDs, videos, magazines, engravers and Inter-library loans
• 2 weeks for DVDs. Longer for large sets
• Express items as marked

If we do not have the item you require in our collection you may contact us in person, by phone or via our website and we will try to obtain it for you. Reservations
If the item you require is out on loan, you can place a hold from home or in the Library. We will notify you by e-mail, sms or post as soon as the item is available. Overdue Items

After hours return chutes are located near the entrance of both Libraries for your convenience. Community Bus
