I encourage everyone to visit the wonderful "Let's Go Fly a Kite" exhibition at Rosefield Uniting Church as part of this years' SALA Festival. How delightful to see the 115 year old chapel filled with colourful quilted kites, and the church grounds adorned with artwork from the Broughton Art Society as well as kites contributed by Highgate Primary School students. Well done to all involved!

I was delighted to once again present the certificates to the winners at the City of Unley's annual Business Awards.

Unley's Business Awards provides an opportunity to recognise those businesses and individuals whose contribution strengthens our city and advances a thriving local economy.

What a wonderful night celebrating our high-quality local businesses that we are so privileged to have in Unley!

As a keen cyclist I was thrilled to hear that the French city which we recently signed a relationship agreement with, Ville de Beauvais, is often the stop over point for English cyclists riding from London to Paris. Thanks David Sutton for the photo of the pub he stopped at in Beauvais!

We are pleased that the Hyde Park Croquet Club was able to secure a grant from Council which paid for some new balls.
Well done President Barry Haydon, Dennis Collins President of UPSC and all involved.
It was a lovely morning celebrating and christening the new balls!

Having just returned, I am happy to share that I was honoured to travel to France to sign a formal city relationship agreement between the City of Unley and the City of Beauvais in late June.

This is a wonderful opportunity to further strengthen our already strong connection to France here in Unley, and I am looking forward to sharing knowledge and ideas, and working together towards joint initiatives and outcomes for Unley and Beauvais.
