ent and a skills-appointed board member of the Australian Wine Research Institute. She has implemented reform in the public and private sectors, has extensive experience in providing advice to the corporate sector, investors and industry bodies, and possesses excellent analytical and technical skills. Sarah was a Minister in the Hodgman and Gutwein Governments until her retirement from Parliament in February 2022. During her tenure Sarah was responsible for a number of senior portfolios including Education, Primary Industries and Resources, and was Minister for Health during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to her involvement in Parliamentary service, Sarah was based in Sydney and worked for almost a decade in the financial services industry across equity analysis, institutional sales and quantitative analysis at ING Investment Management, JB Were and ABN AMRO. Sarah also worked as the Business Development Manager at Regal Funds Management, working with clients in the USA, Asia and Europe. In 2010 Sarah moved to Tasmania and established a boutique vineyard in the Tamar Valley, growing Pinot Noir. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (1st class honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Sydney, a Master of Wine Technology and Viticulture from the University of Melbourne and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Director
