WS&LSC Members are invited to completed the Past/Present/Future Patrollers Survey 2026!

This survey will gather vital information ahead to inform how Williamstown will patrol during the 2026/2027 season and beyond! It is open to past and current members who used, currently do or will do patrolling at Williamstown during the upcoming summer period!

The link to the survey is available via the Club TeamApp or via your registered email, and will be open until 11:59pm 15th August 2026.

🏅 WS&LSC IRB ATHLETES BRING HOME AUSSIES HARDWARE! 🏅

What an incredible way to wrap up the IRB racing season! 💪🌊

Our IRB racing team recently travelled to South West Rocks to compete at the Australian IRB Racing Championships – the biggest event on the IRB calendar. Across four action-packed days, 43 clubs from around Australia battled it out in the U23, Open and Masters divisions.

Our athletes took on the nation's best, recording multiple Quarter Final and Semi Final appearances throughout the carnival. Congratulations to every competitor for the dedication and hard work that earned them a place on the Australian stage.

A special shout-out goes to our incredible Female Masters team, who delivered outstanding performances and brought home Australian Championship medals!

Congratulations to Sarah, Talia, Ange, Alexa and Alastair on becoming repeat Australian medallists, and to Rebecca, Isla and Nina on winning their first Australian Championship medal! 👏

Williamstown was also proudly represented in the Victorian State Team management, with Joel Farrow (Opens Team Manager), David Rylance (Opens Assistant Coach) and Alex Walton (U23 Assistant Coach) selected for the 2026 squad. Congratulations to Team Victoria on their outstanding third-place finish!

A huge thank you to our officials, team support crew, volunteers and families. These achievements wouldn't have been possible without your tireless support throughout the season.

As another IRB season comes to a close, we're incredibly proud of every athlete who has trained through the cold Victorian winter, developing the rescue and racing skills that make them exceptional volunteer lifesavers serving our community.

Congratulations to everyone involved—we can't wait to do it all again next season!

Our awesome IRB Racing Team have travelled to South West Rocks for the Australian IRB Championships once again, looking to battle it out with the best in the nation over the next four days! This event is the pinnacle of the IRB Racing calendar nationally, with Williamstown being one of 43 clubs competing this year!

WS&LSC will be represented at all ages groups across the competition through U23, Open and Masters events, and our team are very keen to kick everything off today with our U23 crews ready to rumble. If you want to follow along, head to the LiveHeats website where all results will be posted!

The Passing of Helen Fleming - Silver Saltie

The Silver Salties farewelled one of our beloved members, Helen Fleming, who passed away earlier this week.

Helen joined the Silver Salties shortly after its inception five years ago. She was always willing to assist with any task, always with a warm smile. Her loyal dog, Ollie, was also by her side, eager to help.

Anne Young led the ceremony on the beach, ensuring all 50 members were included. The beautiful weather today made it a bit easier to honour this sad day. Our Silver Angel was looking over us.

Rest in peace, Helen.

Helen’s kindness, generosity, and willingness to help never went unnoticed. Whether she was lending a hand at the Nippers BBQ or sharing a cuppa and a listening ear with a fellow member, she made everyone feel welcome and valued.
Helen touched the lives of so many—not just her close friends, but members right across our club. She will be remembered with great fondness and gratitude.
Our heartfelt condolences and love go out to Helen’s Silver Salty friends and her family during this difficult time. 💛💙

🏆Winners are grinners!🏆

The Kings Birthday weekend saw IRB Racing descend on Port Fairy Surf Life Saving Club for the U23 & Masters State Championship and Round 5 of the TRE Motorsport Pty Ltd Victorian IRB Racing Series!

Our intrepid team of competitors brought their best to the beach and battled it out with clubs from across Victoria, including our Female Masters team who were seeking to defend their 2025 title.

We are incredibly proud to announce that our legendary team of Sarah, Talia, Ange and Rebecca, along with their brave patients, have once again claimed the Victorian IRB Masters State Championship for the second year in a row!

These incredible lifesavers, who each have delivered so much for Williamstown S&LSC over the years, brought home some awesome results (and bling!):
