We're continually inspired by the incredible people in our community who find creative ways to support the work we do.

Events like the upcoming O'BrienCo Race Day are a wonderful example of how businesses, community groups and individuals can come together, have fun, and make a meaningful difference for people living with epilepsy and their families.

Every fundraiser, workplace event, community gathering or special occasion hosted in support of Epilepsy Queensland helps create greater awareness, connection and impact. We're so grateful to those who choose to champion our cause and bring others along on the journey.

This event in particular honours a very special individual, Lauren 'Loz' Smith, who tragically lost her life to SUDEP. Her legacy lives on through her family, friends and wider community and is a reminder to us all about the impact we can make when we we honour those we love through action, connection and community.

Thank you to O'BrienCo and everyone who continues to find ways to support the 50,000 Queenslanders impacted by epilepsy💜

After bringing home gold and bronze medals at the State Championships this year, Brett has been selected to represent Queensland at the Special Olympics National Games in Melbourne this October.
