We would like to thank everyone for your support for the last two and a half years. Opening a skate shop was a childhood dream of ours and we were lucky enough to make that dream come true. After struggling as a new business at a difficult financial time, at the end of the month we were not making ends meet. Through a lot of discussion and conversation we have come to the difficult decision that we need to close our doors. We did our best to contribute to the community and to help skateboarding to blossom on the island, but as we have been struggling to stay afloat for a while we have decided it’s time for us to move on and pursue other dreams. Cado will be going deeper in the Beach Tennis world and start traveling to represent Aruba in competitions abroad. Dennis is getting married in a month and will be traveling a lot with his soon to be wife Rachel.
We have had so many great memories here at Salad, working together with young skaters to build new skate spots, hosting pro skaters to show us how it is done and having grommets over in the shop on a daily basis to hang out and play video games. Thank you all for your support.
