Ready to lead, serve, and learn?
Under the theme "Preparing Today To Protect Tomorrow" we invite applications for the 2026 Fire Cadet summer program.

Application period: April 1st –30th, 2026
Applicants can scan the QR code and fill out the seamless doc form to be eligible.
Link also available in bio

Applicants must be aged 12 to 16 at start of the program.

Cadets will be introduced to:
• Fire safety & prevention
• Basic firefighting skills
• First aid & emergency response
• Drill, discipline & teamwork
• Leadership and personal development

Spaces are limited | Application time period strictly enforced.

Five (5) Instructors and twenty-five (25) Fire Cadets proudly represented the Barbados Fire Service Fire Cadet Programme at this morning’s March Pass during the Holetown Festival.

Our cadets stood tall, showcasing the spirit of service and excellence as we continue to build the next generation of firefighters and leaders.

Senior Fire Cadets going through practical training on the Arizona Vortex. Setup and breakdown.

The Arizona Vortex is a versatile, portable, artificial high directional (AHD) system used in rope rescue and access work. The Vortex allows users to elevate rope lines above edges, entries or other obstructions, and is ideal in edge-mitigation for cliffs, confined spaces, mines and other industrial rescue or rope access operations.
