আনন্দঘন ছাড়া বেদনার স্মৃতিগুলো
নীরবে কাঁদায় ।

একটি মানুষ তার মন ও মনন
হৃদয়ের জানালাতে উঁকি
কিছু কিছু মানুষের জীবনাচরণ
সম্মুখে চেনা যায় না
জীবন চলে গেলে তার রাখা বাকি কাজ
কেউ মেলাতে পারে না।

যার কথা ভেসে ওঠে মনে বারে বার
তার মত আপন এত কে হবে আবার
প্রিয়জন চলে গেলে ফিরে আসে না
তাকে ছাড়া কোনভাবে প্রাণ না জুড়ায় ।............................................
