Six years have passed since the tragic death of Major (Retd.) Sinha Mohammad Rashed Khan (51st BMA Long Course), but his legacy continues to resonate across Bangladesh.
Born into the family of a freedom fighter, Major Sinha dedicated his life to serving the nation with honor, discipline, and courage. He joined the Bangladesh Army in 2003 and was commissioned in 2004 through the prestigious 51st BMA Long Course. Throughout his distinguished military career, he earned a reputation for intelligence, leadership, and bravery. He served in the Special Security Force (SSF), entrusted with the protection of the countryâs highest leadership, and represented Bangladesh in the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Côte dâIvoire in 2013.
