Proud to share our Bangladesh snapshot from the international “My Day with Oncology Pharmacy” initiative by ESOP Global.

Our poster, “My Day with Oncology Pharmacy – Bangladesh,” highlights the emerging role of oncology pharmacy practice in Bangladesh, based on responses from pharmacists working in oncology-related settings.

Although the dataset is small, the findings indicate an important direction: oncology pharmacy practice in Bangladesh is currently more focused on medicine management, prescription review, protocol support, and patient communication, with a clear opportunity to strengthen hospital-based clinical pharmacy services and multidisciplinary cancer care integration.

This initiative reinforces the need for:

✅ Structured oncology pharmacy training
✅ Broader national participation
✅ Stronger collaboration among pharmacists, oncologists, and multidisciplinary cancer care teams
✅ Greater recognition of oncology pharmacists in safe and effective cancer treatment delivery

Grateful to be part of this meaningful work representing Bangladesh in the global oncology pharmacy community.
