নিয়মিত অপু বিশ্বাসের বাসায় যেতেন বসুন্ধরার শাহ আলম।

বেশ কয়েক মাস ধরেই সাংবাদিক নাজমুস সাকিব দাবি করে আসছেন ঢালিউডের নায়িকা অপু বিশ্বাসের সাথে নাকি বসুন্ধরা গ্রূপের চেয়ারম্যান আহমেদ আকবর সোবহান ওরফে শাহ আলমের অবৈধ সম্পর্ক রয়েছে। এ ঘটনার সত্যতা জানতে এশিয়াগ্রামের পক্ষ থেকে শাহ আলমের ঘনিষ্ট কিছু সূত্রের সাথে যোগাযোগ করা হয়। নাম প্রকাশ না করার শর্তে তারা জানান, যেদিন থেকে অপু বিশ্বাস বসুন্ধরা গ্রূপের চেয়ারম্যানের বাসার পাশেই বসতি গড়েন (বসুন্ধরা আবাসিক এলাকাতে); সেদিন থেকে শাহ আলমের স্ত্রী আফরোজার সাথে শাহ আলমের পারিবারিক সমস্যা সৃষ্টি হতে থাকে (অপু বিশ্বাসকে কেন্দ্র করে)।

তাছাড়া অপু বিশ্বাস চলচ্চিত্র থেকে এমন কোনো অর্থ উপার্জন করেন নি; যা দিয়ে ঐরকম একটা ব্যায়বহুল এলাকাতে তার পক্ষে এরকম বিলাসবহুল একটি বাড়ি বানানো সম্ভব।জানা যায় মূলত বাড়িটা শাহ আলমের পক্ষ থেকে অপু বিশ্বাসকে "উপহার" দেয়া হয়। তাছাড়া এই সম্পর্কের বিষয়টি জানাজানি হওয়ার পর থেকেই অপু বিশ্বাসের সাথে শাকিব খানের দূরত্ব তৈরী হয়; যা পরবর্তীতে বিচ্ছেদে রূপান্তরিত হয়।

A fake journalist named Mehedi Hasan has been accused of extorting money from various institutions in the capital by posing as a journalist and s*xually harassing a female employee of the same office. This fake journalist and former Chhatra League leader is demanding crores of taka from various ministers including BNP minister Mir Shahe Alam and other businessmen. He extorts money by threatening people from different professions.

Besides, the accused introduced himself as a journalist of a newspaper called 'Agrajatra Pratidin', which is an underground newspaper. Many victims have already filed general diaries (GD) in various police stations in these incidents. The female worker who s*xually harassed her is also facing the law. Bankers and businessmen allege that a group of journalists led by Mehedi Hasan has been harassing bankers, government officials, ordinary people and businessmen. The man, who blackmailed the managing director of a leading bank in the country, published news in the notorious Agrajatra Pratidin newspaper with false information to achieve his goal of extortion.
