Define joint?
Ans. Joints can be defined as a point where two or more bones are connected in a human skeletal system. Cartilage is a type of tissue which keeps two adjacent bones to come in contact (or articulate) with each other.

JOINTS, in anatomy, a structure that separates two or more adjacent elements of the skeletal system. Depending on the type of joint, such separated elements may or may not move on one another.

Types Of Joints
There are 3 different types of Joints and are classified mainly based on their mobility:
1.Fibrous Joints or Fixed Joints
2.Synovial Joints or Freely Movable Joints
3.Cartilaginous Joints or Slightly Moveable Joints.

Joints can be classified in two ways: temporally and structurally. Each classification is associated with joint function.
