Radiance

I shine the light of God, I am radiant.

When a couple gets married or new parents gaze upon their newborn baby, it is often said they look radiant. Their radiance is the the light of God within them shining forth as pure love and joy.

Today I remember that radiance need not be reserved for special occasions. Instead, I can call it forth by being mindful of my matu blessings and living a life of gratitude.

Even at those times I may feel my reserves of joy and energy running low, I pause to remember the divine light within me that, like the sun, never fades.

I turn my attention from what may trouble my mind or cause me to feel drained and toward everything thing in my life that is good and right. Joy fills me as I radiate God's love.

Look to him, and be radiant, so your faces shall never be ashamed. -Psalm 34:5

Peace

Perfect peace dwells within me and all beings.

As I prepare for a fuller experience of my divinity this Advent season, I turn my attention to cultivating peace of mind and heart. This inner preparation invites me to look beyond my circumstances and attuned to the deeper harmony that underlies all creation. Whether I'm in a busy city or a calming, natural setting, I trust that each day will dawn in perfect alignment with the heavenly bodies of the cosmos. Likewise, whetherI feel anxious or calm, I trust heavenly peace is within me.

Aware of my peaceful nature, I choose thoughts, words, and actions that honor my spiritual self. My presence restores calm in chaos and invites serenity to ease distress. My tranquil demeanor magnifies the peace of God.

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with all of you.-2 Thessalonians 3:16

Divine Order

I relax and trust divine order is unfolding.

When I'm feeling impatient, eager for a situation to resolve, or perhaps anxious about an unsettled dispute, I may want to pray for a speedy resolution.

Instead, I pause and affirm divine order. Even though it can be difficult to live with uncertainty and open-ended circumstances, sometimes certain things need to fall into place before a desired result can manifest.

I relax as I think of divine order and the presence of God in all things. I remember that life rarely happens according to plan and usually not on my preferred schedule. Yet, I trust the highest and best outcomes are unfolding, often in ways I cannot fully discern.

I affirm divine order, spiritually surrender my worries, and trusting divine timing.

Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you.- Proverbs 4:25

Truth

I live the Truth I know.

A timeless spiritual principle tells me it is not enough to understand spiritual teachings.To fully experience their transformative power and change my life, I must live the Truth I know.

By using my favorite spiritual practices, including meditation and prayer, work with denials and affirmations, and creative visualization, I have learned I can change my thoughts and feelings in a deep and lasting way.

Spiritual living helps me change my life. I am strengthened and comforted knowing spiritual Truth is chandeliers. I can rely on the enduring presence of God as I continue to explore my inner world and grow and deepen in understanding.

Lead me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all day long.-Psalm 25:5

Give

Through my awareness of divine abundance, I give generously.

How wonderful it feels to give generously from my heart. When I am generous, I feel fully in the flow of life and newly close to God.

Giving also helps me deepens my understanding of the abundance that surrounds me. When I share my supply, I am demonstrating my prosperity, knowing God is the source of all the world's abundance. As I generously and joyously circulate my supply, I open myself to receive, often from unexpected channels.

My needs and concerns fade from my mind when my giving contributes to another's well-being, blessings them and helping them feel supported and valued. I am in the flow of abundance when I give with love.

You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity, which will produce thanksgiving to God through us. - 2 Corinthians 9:11

Wholeness

As a being, wholeness is the truth of me

I am so much more than my physical body, so much more than the sum of my thoughts and emotions. Of course, these are all aspects of who I am in the world, my unique qualities that make me who I am. But there is a deeper truth of my identity, my spiritual nature. It is at this level I am whole, unaffected by the ravages of illness, a troubled mind, or a heavy heart.

Wholeness is the enduring truth of me. I return to this truth whenever I am in need of healing. I realize Wholeness when I care for my body and mind, all while remaining mindful they are only a part of me.

I tend to my spiritual life as I heal. Through affirmative prayer, I turn from illness and feel my awareness of my wholeness grow.

The eye is the lamp of the body, So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light.-Matthew 6:22

Hope and Faith

I walk by faith and live each day with hope in my heart.

As Advent begins, I centered myself in hope and feel my faith grow strong.

I marvel at Mary's faith as I think about the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of her journey to Bethlehem to have her child.

She must have felt frightened to hear what the angel had told her, but faith allowed her to take each step with peace. Like Mary, I may wonder why I am facing certain events, and like Mary, I live in faith.

When I have doubt or uncertainty, no matter what is going on in my life, my faith in the power of spiritual living gives me renewed hope that God is with me. I am reassured that along every journey, no matter how long, the highest good is unfolding.

For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from him-Psalm 62:5

World Peace

World Peace begins with me

When I think of World Peace, it feels like a huge undertaking. How can I help bring about world peace? The answer is in my thoughts, beliefs, and actions.

I focus on the divine presence within me. Every time I think and act from my spiritual nature, I am contributing Peace to the world. I may not be able to control what is happening in my immediate surroundings or at the farthest reaches of the earth. However, I can control how I think and act as I go through life.

I spend time each day being at peace with what is and what will be. Affirming that blessings are present everywhere calms me. If I start to worry, I re-enter myself in Spirit. I feel blessed as the seed of peace blooms in my heart and blesses the world.

Go in peace. The mission you are on is under the eye of the Lord.- Judges 18:6

Anticipation

Anticipation energizes me and increases my joy.

Looking forward to a special event is an energizing feeling. Tending to details and doing the preparation work focuses my attention on the love and care I feel for those whose company I will share.

Today I will pay attention to this feeling and savor it. Rather than rushing through my preparations and wishing the event could happen sooner, I slowly down and feel my excitement.

I feel grateful for this energizing and enlivening process.My awareness of my joy grows as my Anticipation increases. I am fully alive in each moment, focused and present. Joy is with me at every moment. I am undisturbed by disruptions in my plans, able to accommodate sudden shifts with equilibrium and calm. The joy of Anticipation is my delight.

You have put gladness in my heart more than when their grain and wine abound. -Psalm 4:7

Comfort
God within is my comfort and solace.

Like a blanket that warms me when I'm cold, a protective arm around my shoulder, or an enveloping hug, the comforting love of God can take many forms.

God's comfort comes to me through the kindness of those who care about me, who want to ease my pain, and who check in on me when I'm going. Through a difficult time.

But even without the immediate presence of these dear ones, God's comforting presence is with me. It is in the softness of my memories, the abiding peace I sense deep in my heart, and the rock of my faith.

When life feels painful, I turn to my spiritual life to sense the world beyond this one. I am reminded that everything in the world has come to pass, and God's comfort is mine forever.

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit. - Psalm 34:18
