To the People of West Grand Bahama,
From the depths of my heart, thank you.
Thank you for opening your doors, your communities, and your hearts to me throughout this journey. The warmth, honesty, encouragement, and countless conversations shared across West Grand Bahama are moments I will carry with me forever. To walk the roads, sit in your homes, listen to your stories, and experience firsthand both the struggles and the strength of our people has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
This journey was never simply about politics. It was about people. It was about ensuring that the voices of West Grand Bahama could no longer be overlooked or forgotten. At the very least, my mission was to shine a light on the tremendous untapped potential that exists within our communities — a market rich with talent, resilience, culture, and opportunity, yet underserved for far too long.
Together, we succeeded in bringing focus and attention to West Grand Bahama in a meaningful way. We elevated the conversation. We made it impossible for decision-makers and investors to ignore the possibilities that exist here. And while there is still much work to be done, I remain committed to pushing for investment-grade projects and sustainable opportunities that truly benefit our people.
Most importantly, I will continue to advocate for a future where the residents of West Grand Bahama are not merely informed after decisions are made, but are seated around the table from day one — shaping, guiding, and benefiting from the development of our communities.
The work for me still continues.
I remain grateful for every handshake, every prayer, every word of encouragement, and every act of kindness shown to me throughout this process. Your belief, support, and spirit have inspired me more than words can express.
May God continue to bless each of you, bless your families, and bless the beautiful communities of West Grand Bahama.
With gratitude and unwavering commitment,
Omar A. Isaacs
